Ouchie. Im still recovering from a very exciting film screening last nite.
Today has been a struggle!!!
Like Madlib says,
"Today is the shadow of tomorrow..."
My urban docu-essay, SURVEY was well received and the Fade To Static trailer made jaws drop.
Thanks for all the support folks. It goes so far in this crazy world.

MEMORY BANKS
Tonite I'll be screening some of my work at a very special happy/sad art gala hosted by sQuareone studios. Happy because there are too many creatives and brights being jammed in this Enormous Room. Sad because the forward thinking curators behind much of Boston's recent buzz are headed westcoast.
I'll be re-screening SURVEY, an architectural documentary essay, originally presented during a classy nite of film at the now shuttered Fort Point sQ. studio in February 07. Expect the same calibre tonite.
Ill also sneek peek a look at some of my new work, Fade To Static, and some little vids to make eyebrows get nervous.

BOOKS!
This weekend was all about books - and with the general public going crazy over a talking telephone its nice to see so many smiles and much excitement tied to reading.
On Friday at midnight I stumbled into to a near book burning, as fans of the series "raged"in Cambridge during Harry Potter Fest 2007. The crowd on the dancefloor of the Hong Kong lounge didnt really care about the childsplay madness on the streets below. The sound was big snap dirtyrap and classic house at a sendoff bash for The Second Gallery.
Then Saturday I headed over to the Goodlife lounge in downtown Boston to check a book launch party for the release of author Brian Coleman's in-depth, hip-hop textbook Check The Technique. DJ Evil D kept the night charged with an air of ruggedness.
Then it was off to nearby A Street to wish well a future architect , Colleen Paz, who will be relocating westcoast style to study in Berkeley, CA.
And Tonight?
Some very bold members of the Savage Severe decided to try an experiment - rewriting the WKND WRYRZ party that usually revolves around the killer sounds of PSYCH JAZZ & DISCO to also include the RUDE AWAKENING SOUND in a musical dialogue.
It all goes down at ZUZU in Cambridge, MA.

HOTTER THAN JULY
Hey out there in SAVVY land!
Its been awhile since I started this blog and I must say I've been quite distracted.
A few weeks ago I completed one of my short films:
FADE TO STATIC: Listening to the Radio.
There's a very strong home base at SAVAGE SEVERE headquarters giving this project a push into the 2008 Sundance Film Festival as well as a number of other local and national cinema programs. I'll be making more announcements in the not so distant future.
Well my GANGSTAS & GANGSETTES- please watch this space but more importantly, please contribute to this space!
